Night Static: Winterglow
This four-part digital mural was created for the Rapid Art Movement project by Avenue for the Arts, for which a city bus was converted into a traveling visual and performing arts space that rode in a circuit through Grand Rapids, MI during the 2025 World of Winter celebration. This mural was printed and displayed in an 11” x 205” strip in the interior corner ad space along the length of the bus, telling the story of a character who is stirred from their sleep by snow-light and compelled to explore the night. The series of vignettes show a progression of fantasy as the character imagines the world that waits beyond their door, until they’re met with a humble but serene reality of a simple evening walk through the snowlit streets.

Dakota Nature Park
This digital mural was commissioned in 2023 by the city of Brookings, South Dakota as part of a beautification project to cover utility boxes with printed vinyl murals that help tell the story of Brookings. This Illustration depicts the Dakota Nature Park, a local wildlife restoration project that has reclaimed 135 acres of previously industrialized land for recreation and native habitat.
McZ’s Hops Mural
This 12’ x 30’ mural was painted in 2021 at McZ’s Brew Pub in Rosholt, WI with the help of a grant from CREATE Portage County. Both McZ’s and CREATE hold a special place in my heart for exhibiting my early work at UWSP, so it felt poetic to paint my very first mural on the beer garden wall. The image depicts a hops field as if seen from the window of moving car; the foreground is lost in a blur of abstract marks, the perspective focuses through sharp marks in the middle ground, and the background vanishes into a humid fog of violet and blue planes.
